• Summary of Dr. Yong-Jihn Kim's talk at the 3rd International Conference on Physics and its Applications, in Boston, MA, October 22, 2024.
1. Reason why LK-99 related material is difficult to fabricate.
2. CES-2023 is a room temperature ambient pressure superconductor, according to the Superconductor Exclusion Principle that
is the Meissner effect for small samples.
3. SEM image (attached) of 100% pure CES-2023 shows that 2d layer structure on a micron scale. It is the evidence of 2d
superconductivity in our CES-2023, like high Tc curates. It seems to form infinite layers.
4. Magnetization measurement (attached) of impure sample shows the weak superconducting diamagnetism, after subtracting
the background paramagnetic contribution.

Dr. Kim will give an Invited Talk on our CES-2023, Room Temperature Ambient Pressure Superconductor at the
3rd International Conference on Physics and Its Application, that will be held in Boston, MA, in October 21- 23, 2024. The title of the talk is "Room Temperature Ambient Pressure Superconductor, CES-2023, and Its Applications". 1. Superconductor Exclusion Principle for a small size room temperature superconductor was proposed. 2. CES-2023 is a room temperature ambient pressure superconductor, according to the Superconductor Exclusion Principle. 3. CES-2023 has the transition temperature Tc=104 degrees C, according to the quantum locking, based on the Meissner effect and the preliminary resistance measurement. 4. CES-2023 is formed as an impurity phase in the modified LK-99 that can be made by adding catalysts and some other elements. 5. Modified LK-99 has crystalline phase and amorphous phase, including ferromagnetic whiskers. 6. Ferromagnetic whiskers can have a branch like a tree. 7. Preliminary resistance measurement with low purity CES-2023 sample, with a few percent of superconducting part shows Tc around 104-degree C. (Resistance vs T of LBCO by Bednorz and Muller is also included for comparison.) 8. Resistance measurement with pure CES-2023 will be done soon. Stay tuned!
